David F. Perry is an attorney specializing in the real estate aspects of the development, construction, leasing, financing and operation of renewable energy projects in the US, particularly site control, title, survey and curative matters. He has represented major renewable energy developers and tax equity investors in the real estate aspects of renewable energy transactions for projects in numerous states across the country. David is adept at working with the various parties to an acquisition, sale, construction or financing transaction, including title insurers, and has particular expertise in performing due diligence to determine the curative actions necessary for a renewable project and to obtain title insurance which is market and financeable.

David has practiced renewable energy real estate at large and medium sized firms, as well as in-house at a major renewable energy company. His prior real estate experience includes representation of major national retailers as both in-house and outside counsel. David began his legal career in the title insurance industry, which continues to inform his approach to renewable energy real estate matters.
