Diego Atencio
Diego Atencio is a real estate attorney at Climate Edge Law Group, where he advises renewable energy developers nationwide on the siting, development, and financing of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects. He is known for his pragmatic, business-minded approach to helping clients move projects from early development through closing.
Diego’s practice covers the full scope of real estate matters for clean energy projects. He drafts and negotiates site control agreements, oversees title and survey review, handles curative issues, and negotiates title insurance policies. He also serves as real estate counsel in project financings (construction and tax equity) and project acquisitions and dispositions.
